New Braunfels straddles two districts — New Braunfels ISD in the core, Comal ISD around it — in one of the fastest-growing counties in the country, where subdivisions arrive faster than services.
For 2026–27, awarded homeschool/other students have a $2,000 maximum. Students attending a participating private school may receive $10,474, or up to $30,000 with a qualifying IEP.
