Texas TEFA Tutoring is operated by Special Ed Resource, a nationwide special needs tutoring company with over 12 years of experience serving families of students with learning differences.
Special Education Resource LLC was established in 2012 and has provided online special education tutoring since 2014.
We've delivered more than 100,000 tutoring sessions to students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning challenges. Our team of 45+ certified tutors understands what it takes to help special needs students succeed.
With the launch of Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA), we're helping Texas families understand the program's real funding rules and connect that funding to specialized tutoring support.

Why TEFA Matters
For years, families have struggled to afford quality special needs tutoring. Private intervention can cost $75-150+ per hour — out of reach for many families.
TEFA changes that. The program can materially reduce the cost barrier for specialized support, especially for families whose students qualify for enhanced special education funding through a current IEP on file with the state.
